Sheri L. Terry

Ms. Terry has been an acting coach since 1990. She holds teaching certificates in Speech/Theatre and in English beyond her BA in English. Acting, public speaking classes, and play production fill her days in the public school setting. She is also a talented director of community theatre workshops for children and adults. Ms. Terry uses techniques of improvisation in her work.

While traveling in New Zealand, she observed several drama schools and was a guest teacher for two acting classes. Her other lifelong interest is World Dance; she has been dancing ethnic folk dances with the International Folk Dance Federation for over 30 years and has taught dance to scouts, churches, and community groups. She loves to attend plays and musicals in her hunt for new ideas. Since her first acting experience at the age of eight Ms. Terry has been stage struck.
